TIME is a six-minute radiophonic sound piece created as the major work for my Music & Sound Design undergraduate degree at the University of Technology Sydney. The piece presents a journey through twelve distinct soundscapes, each representing a different eras in history.
Designed & produced entirely as a solo project, TIME explores large-scale environmental sound design & narrative pacing within an anthological structure. The work required extensive sound sourcing, editing, layering & spatialisation to create vastly different historical contexts.
TIME represents the most ambitious solo sound design project of my undergraduate studies. It serves as a key marker of my development in conceptual sound design.
