Coffee Brake is a 3D animated short developed by the UTS Animal Logic Academy (in collaboration with Netflix Animation Studios) as part of an intensive emerging visualisation technologies project.

The film was produced over a 10-week production cycle, with two Music & Sound Design students selected from UTS to contribute to the project’s audio. I was chosen to compose the original musical score (OST) for the film.

Working within a large multi-disciplinary animation team, I developed the score to support narrative pacing & tone, aligning closely with character beats & visual rhythm across the film’s animation.

Coffee Brake went on to win Best VFX at the 2023 Oasis Film Festival.
